Message from the Editor
I first started going to the PPSNY Annual Conference five years ago down in Westchester. It was my first experience at a conference and I really enjoyed the educational experience and tradeshow. I didn't know anyone at the time and stayed at my sisters place in New York City. Fast forward five years to this year's conference which was back in Westchester. The education and tradeshow are still a highlight for me, however the camaraderie and friendships that I have built over the last five years are the most important parts.
In fact, this year I had the fortune of sharing the experience with my sister Ellen, who you all know, and my brother Rich who came out to visit from Massachusetts. He was very inspired by the conference and commented quite a few times on what a great group of people we have. Just this past week I had a wedding in Boston and Rich was my second shooter. I think he has the bug now to become a photographer. Below is one of the images I shot in Boston.
I also to want to congratulate my sister Ellen for earning her first Blue Ribbon competition print at this years conference. Way to go sis!
I am also very excited about the opportunity to bounce ideas off our new PPSNY President Kelvin Ringold. Kelvin has already demonstrated his desire and ability to make a difference that all of us as PPSNY members can be proud of.
