Message from the Editor
Holy Smokes! It looks like a bomb went off in my studio. All of my elves are busy preparing photos to deliver for Christmas, only to be reburied daily when the UPS guy opens the door. We have filled the closets with empty boxes and have bubble packing falling out of every available nook and cranny. It's easy to let the meaning of the holidays get lost in the shuffle. What ever the meaning is for you, step back, take a deep breath and embrace it. For me, the meaning is in the photo below. It's the magic seen in my kids eyes this time of year. I want to wish all of you the happiest of holidays and a successful upcoming year.

Kevin showed mock up of brochure and said he was waiting for the speaker's program content. Competition will feature awards for prints, albums, and Judge's Choice award. Kevin is soliciting Finger Lakes souvenirs for a gift basket. Neil offered to donate a bottle of Finger Lakes wine. The Batavia Chamber of commerce was also mentioned as a possible source for gift basket items. It was also mentioned that Karen Dyer of PPSNYS can link TEP info to the state web site, as well as "piggy back" brochures with other state mailings.
There was discussion regarding incentives for prospective members such as refund of Section dues upon attending one's first meeting. It was mentioned that membership benefits should be promoted at the registration table. Kevin suggested one flat fee should be charged for members and guests alike, rather than penalize non-members.
