Message from the Editor
"A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty." -Winston Chruchill
I have read more books this year than ever before. I didn't plan it, but most of the books have been on the power of positive thinking. There seems to be some light at the end of the tunnel with the economic down turn. This would be a great time to analyze the difficulties of the last year and position yourself for growth of a new economy. Find which door to open to the future as we close the door behind us on the things that didn't work out in the past. Some of the books I recommend from this past year are "Harmonic Wealth" by James Arthur Ray, "Becomme a Better You" by Joel Osteen, "The Secret" by Rhonda Byrne and "One" and "Illusions" by Richard Bach.

Message from the Section Chairperson
"At our last meeting it was decided that we will evaluate the present time, etc. and decide if we want to continue or go back to the old format. This and the new dues proposal will be the items on the agenda for next meeting. "
- Vince

Ameka said she would meet with Bonnie and Five-Star Bank to transfer the Finger Lakes Section checking account and sign signature cards.
Old Business: Honey expressed concern that some were attending meetings without having paid their dues. She said "it isn't fair to our dues paying members if others continue to come for free". It was agreed that after their initial "guest" visit, prospective members be given an application and encouraged to join. Craig pointed out that "almost 50% of GRPP members are not paying State dues". He plans to bring it up at Council. Honey agreed and said GRPP has become like it's own "club". Steve Chesler said that "we should emphasize incentives and should make people feel welcome".
