Message from the Editor

We all start the new year with high hopes for a great year. I returned from the conferences out west inspired and eager to share what I've learned with my colleagues. I was fourtunate enough to be the speaker for the Finger Lakes group in January and had the opportunity to share what I've learned as well as witness the swearing in of our new officers, including our new Section Chair, Dan Runfola.

If any one of us knew at that meeting that it was our last night with Dan, what would we have done differently? I received a phone call that Dan passed away the next day from a heart attack. If you knew Dan, I don't have to tell you how good of a person he was. Every one of us will miss him tremendously. My thoughts and prayers go out to Dan's wife Nan as she copes with this sudden and tragic loss.
